The new multi-purpose theatre, auditorium opened on 1st October 2022. The official opening was performed by Minister Heather Humphreys T.D. Minister for Community and Rural Affairs.

The new facility hosts a theatre with stage, dance floor, balcony, back stage facilities, bar and foyer. It is widely used for concerts, céilí's, singing and music performances, yoga, pilates, set dancing and jiving classes.

On Friday 13th May Chnoc na Gaoithe held a special opening event to Commemorate the Easter Rising 1916 Forfhógra na Cásca Ceremony with special guest, President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins.

Honoured that the Cnoc na Gaoithe Céilí Band were recipients of the Mayoral Reception Special Achievement Award at Clare Co.Council this evening in recognition of their All Ireland win in Drogheda in 2019!

Cnoc na Gaoithe committee members welcomed Minister for Community and Rural Development Michael Ring T.D. and Minister Pat Breen T.D. on December 20th 2019 to Cnoc na Gaoithe after they were awarded a grant of €900,000 to complete the restoration of all buildings and grounds of the former Convent of Mercy which was generously donated to Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in 2011.
